WHAT IS COACHING?

Coaching is an opportunity to uncover and seek your dreams.

In our sessions, the primary thing I do is listen intently and ask questions that guide you to your own wisdom. Sometimes I will recommend exercises depending on what parts of your life need unpacking—work, home, community, solitude.

 FAQs

  • A coach guides you to find answers within yourself that are obscured. The discovery process is mental, emotional and physical and we will go on a journey together.

  • There are a number of differences between coaching and therapy. Coaching is focused on a plan for the future, and therapy often focuses on the past. You won’t receive a diagnosis through coaching. We will collaboratively make a plan for you to dream up and reach your goals!

However, I am a fan of therapy, and when needed will refer my clients to trusted therapists.

  • Your first session is like a mutual interview. I will ask you questions and you can ask me questions, including those answered here. You can share whatever you want, including apprehensions about coaching, and I am happy to answer as well as tell you what to expect.
